Well, I think I've found a new home on 3FC.
Over the last 3 weeks, I have been eating "clean," although I just discovered that term. LOL Trust me to be sort of the last to know any cool stuff or trendy terminology. Long story short, I calorie count, but within that, I eat whole foods.
It feels great, I have to say. I do get hungry for my meals, but not unpleasantly so--there's a difference between hunger and craving.
I'm loving summer and all the wonderful fruits and vegetables available now. My favorites are probably summer tomatoes and peaches, although blueberries and melon are also wonderful!! We're in an area with some very nice upscale groceries that have good selections of organic (and local!) produce, plus there's a farmer's market that I plan to hit this week. Seafood is great here, too, although not so much local because of the oil spill--gulf seafood is much more expensive now, when it's available at all.
Well, nice to "meet" y'all--I think I'm going to enjoy catching up on the rest of this wholefoods forum.
