    Zoochick, I'm glad to hear you are better and getting some relief. You might try some stretches or look for some back strengthen exercises if you think that will help.

  • Hey everyone I Am doing alright. I have to walk around to try to find some wifi on my iPod. I am keeping up with my food journal on this iPod. I spent 3 hours playing in the ocean. I know I burned some major calories but swAllowed a lot of salt wAter will have to drink lots of water to flush it out. Diana I am on hartnett in iop charleston. U can come visit if u would like. We could hang out at the beach together. I hope everyone is doing ok.
  • wow, i am late for this..but nonetheless..

    i am 5'5", used to weigh 140, but gained about 100 lbs, got married at my heaviest (240), and i am going back down..just reach one of my personal mini goals: to get out of the 220's and get to the 2-teens..i am at 218 as of today (yay!)..

    i started keeping better track of my food consumption with the help of an app in my android phone called calorie counter, and i do not consume more than 2000 calories a day..i try to swim everyday or do some form of exercise (walking the dog, playing with the cats)..i want to start the insanity 60 day program (i have it, but my husband always wants to *start* on a monday, never happens, so i guess this monday i will have to start without him ) i eat mostly fruits and vegetables, unprocessed drinks (with the exception of alcoholic beverages, which i consume about twice a month) and juices (i make them myself)and i take my daily multivitamin and supplements (need them for my vitiligo).

    my long term goal? to get down to 160 (140 would be better) before i have children so i can produce a healthy bunch (husband understands)

    my goal for this month is to get down to 210 or less..i wanna be able to fit in my old jeans!

  • Hello Everyone,

    This is my second post in here, I didn't post yesterday unfortunately.

    Today was my first time eating out in a month. For lunch I went to a "salad bar". I thought getting a little cesar salad would be ok but I never realized how much calories one cup of that salad had!!! After adding my calories, I ended up eating about 940 calories total but I enjoyed the meal so all is well. I will definitely do better tomorrow. I try to stay focused on taking it day by day. No excuses!!!

    I also reached a mini-milestone today! I actually jogged a little on the treadmill! In my other post I complained about not being able to walk as fast as I wanted to but today I wanted to push the limit. I did about a minute of light jogging during my walk and it actually wasn't that bad.

    Stats for the day:

    B- Plain oatmeal with raisins, protein powder
    S- small apple
    L- 1 c cesar salad, 1 c asian salad, 1 cup tossed sald, 1 c chicken soup, 1 blueberry muffin, 1 chocolate chip muffin
    D- Small serving of tuna fish salad w/egg & small mashed sweet potato

    Total Calories: 1,779 (not bad at all!!!)

    Its late and I should be asleep but Im up cleaning (best time..when everyone else is asleep so they cant go behind me and make a mess again!) So I figured I would take a break and check in!!

    not bad today wasnt really hungry but here goes:

    4 slices or a half a tomato (11ish)

    1 cup homemade turkey chili (250)

    3oz blackened salmon baked (200)

    broccoli with cheese (67)

    no snacks but several cups of coffee through out the day roughly 100 calories total with 1/2 tsp sugar and sf hazelnut powder creamer.
    42 oz of water total today yay me!
    TOTAL: 1273
    My exercise so far has been just running my business (home daycare and cleaning) I plan to step it up and do a tape soon

    So lunch yesterday was:
    A bagel
    A kiwi fruit
    Some berries
    And for dinner we went to a friends house and had:
    A small slice of chicken pie (panic)
    Baby boiled potatos
    Veggies

    Not to bad other than the pie...bit gutted about that. However, the bit that I'm chuffed with is the 40 mins I did at the gym before I went to my friends and burned 500cal. In 40 mins YEY! I was chuffed I managed 30 mins hard slog on the elliptical and 10 minutes hard slog on the rower.

    I'm looking after their dog this weekend at their house so plenty of walking for me. However, I'm quite allergic to dogs, so have put myself on a dose of steroids for the weekend. I'm usually ok if I drink a lot of water but Im postponing my weigh in until Weds because I don't want to be weighing water retention...

    Anyway, It'll be a test, as I only buy stuff I can eat at home and I'll be in a house full of sweets, sugar and fatty yummy foods that wouldnt usually come over my doorstep...fingers crossed. Hoping to be out all day anyway so shouldnt be too bad. And my dude is bringing his son for a bit so I get to see them too
