MrsD, Glad you found something to eat!

Wiki, My Hubby worked nights for several years, I tried to be on his schedule and that didn't work very well for me or him. I had an aunt and uncle, he worked nights and she worked days for their entire life, and they were happy. go figure.
  • Thanks Penguin, I kinda like that picture after cropping it
  • I'm REALLY getting the urge to pig out tonight. I'm packing to move, had a fight with my boyfriend, getting nervous about starting my new job...and all I want right now is a pint of cookie dough ice cream!

So anyway, I'm going to reply now in hopes of avoiding a binge.

  • Paradise Have you tried Arctic Zero? I have tried the chocolate peanut butter and it was good. I see that they also have a cookie and cream flavor. It's about 150 calories per pint. http://www.myarcticzero.com/
  • hey there all! well, i got through my dentist appt. My filling is officially fixed and I am $200 lighter.

Well, i have been really keeping track of my food on my ipod. I love the app, but it's a pain because I can't see everything at the same time. Plus it's calores and not exchanges. Still not a bad program.

So I think i will get used to looking at each category seperately and posting.

I got home from the beach depressed. I didn't eat very healthily but i didn't overeat my cals except for Sunday. I have not been doing a great job on my water either. So i need to do better.

i just got done eating some HIGH FIBER high Protein cereal comparable to Kashi but i got it at aldis--and my stomach just blew up and bloated. So now i am really full ---literally. so i don't want to cook.
  • Diana you're my hero! Those look SO good. Chocolate peanut butter is my favorite ice cream. The only kind I can find is Breyer's, and it's like 800 calories for the pint...which I eat in its entirety

JenDiet, have you tried the ************ app? I LOVE it. Super user-friendly, and it auto-syncs with the website so you're current on all devices.
  • Quote: Diana you're my hero! Those look SO good. Chocolate peanut butter is my favorite ice cream. The only kind I can find is Breyer's, and it's like 800 calories for the pint...which I eat in its entirety
Well, I may not be hero status, yet. Let me tell you about them first. Breyer's is really nice and creamy. These don't have have that exact consistency. Although they are good. It would be nice to have something like this on hand if you are having one of those days. KWIM? Now if you are having a serious Haagen Dazs craving, this might not work for you. They are made with whey protein, I believe, so they have some protein. I noticed that they have a cookies and cream flavor, too. I'm not sure if they are available in your area. You can search for your area on their website.

Also, I forgot to mention, I'm sorry about the fight with your boyfriend. I hope you two work it out.

When do you start the new job?
  • Quote: Also, I forgot to mention, I'm sorry about the fight with your boyfriend. I hope you two work it out.

When do you start the new job?
Thanks! It's no big deal, we've been together for 7 years and bicker all the time. This time it was about a couch

I start Monday as editor-in-chief of my college paper. It's not really *new* since I worked there last year, too, but it will be a lot more responsibility. I'm excited though

Edit: I just looked up the Arctic Zero, and so far no stores near me. If I can find some place to try it, I wouldn't mind ordering a case on Amazon, as long as I know I like it!
  • Jen which cereal did you get at Aldi? Was it good? Did you like it?

I have got to do better calorie wise. I didn't get up until 9:00 and when I get up late it throws me off. I do better when I am up at 6:45-7:00. This will be one of my goals for the remainder of the week.
  • Hi Everyone:

Tomorrow we are going to my favorite Japanese restaurant. The sodium wreaks havoc on me. I will gain a couple pounds in water weight. I had a lower calorie day today, just in case calories are an issue tomorrow. I think the issue is sodium not calories, though. Tomorrow for lunch I am planning on eating 2 Greek Yogurts. This will save me about 100 calories, plus the sodium in them in also less than my normal lunch. This is kinda like an experiment for me. I want to see if it makes a difference on Friday when I get on the scale. Hopefully it will help with the water retention.

Paradise Do you have a Whole Foods near? They can probably order the Arctic Zero for you.

I see a few of you eat natural pb, was wondering what the benefits of natural pb is opposed to say regular or reduced fat pb. We'll I'm off to hit the hay, I've got to get up early for a dentist appt. Good night all.
  • Thanks, dream And reading your post reminded me how much I love natural peanut butter. I kind of forgot about it, but I used to have it all the time. I love the grainy texture.
