  • Okay, who was the wise-guy who gave me protection from sleep?!?!?!

I's nearly 10pm here, and I need to hit the pillows!
  • I must have. All I can do is sleep today. Oh well, I think my mind and body probably need it. I can't wait till August 5.
  • Quote: . . . 410 to go.

I need protection from FREE food everywhere. Especially samples from Whole Foods and Trader Joe's.
If you are having trouble at Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, don't ever go to Costco !
  • Who is gonna protect me from Facebook...my first day on and I can see it can get ugly!
  • Oh, Good Heavens! Not FaceBook. My X is on it. He sits on the computer most of the time he is here and has been trying to convince me to get an account by saying he'll be my friend.

Well, I don't want an account and I don't want to be his "friend".
  • Costo Samples

    How right your are.

My first trip to Costco - first time ever in my life - was about noon on a Saturday. I ate about ten samples, mostly mediocre stuff, but the worst was a sample of Chef Boyardee canned ravioli. CANNED RAVIOLI. And even so, to get mine I had to jostle two little old ladies fighting to get ahead of me in line. In real life, we have ravioli about once a year which we get, that day, from a place that makes it in house - favorite being Pumpkin Gorgonzola available only in the late fall.

I can feel in my bones what the sight of the string of sample tables does to me when I walk in the door of that place. If I were an honest man, I'd attend Costco Anonymous.
  • Costco is always an adventure....

balancing all that toilet paper on top of everything without looking suspicious...

BILL Angie just loves the seasonal butternut squash ravioli in the fall.
  • Canned rav. samples?!?!?!

    Dude, you always look suspicious!!!
  • 100 . . .
    . . . 400 to go

Well, at this rate, maybe not by Christmas.

    How's the studying going, Operator?
  • Yummy! Squash ravioli! I want some for breakfast. Does that make me weird?
  • That is not what makes you weird, Ruthie. Just saying.

And, Bill, school is whooping my butt. On Saturday I decided to give my brain a break and not even look at the school work. On Sunday my body got jealous and went on strike. I couldn't stay awake for more than an hour at a time. I will NEVER take 3 summer classes at once again. Never, ever, EVA!!!

Good news, though. My daughter seems to be feeling sorry for me and trying to take care of the house and is being really nice to me lately. Kinda scary!!! Maybe she'll take the hint and start trying a little harder on her own school work. Stranger things have happened.
  • Present....
  • and accounted for?

Gary I want to be your friend on facebook (I think)
