Japanese Steakhouse "House" Soup

  • Typical clear broth soup w/ green onions and mushrooms. Quick, easy recipe for a nice light soup.

    For 4:

    1 quart organic (it actually tastes better in this case) chicken stock

    handful (or more) of whatever dry mushrooms you like

    1-3 tbsp thinly sliced spring onions (to taste)


    Bring chicken stock to boil.
    Add mushrooms and onions and turn heat down to medium for 5 minutes (or more if you like softer mushrooms, just feel it out).
    Serve into bowls.
