Simple, Yummy Dinner

  • I made a very yummy, very simple dinner tonight and it's so yummy and good for you that I had to share.

    1. In a small baking dish (I used my bread pan) mix together:
    2 servings Quaker Quick Cook Barley (pre-cooked)
    2 original boca burgers (thawed and chopped)
    1/2 cup crushed tomato
    28 g Kraft Shredded Parmesan, Romano, and Asiago cheese (not the grated 3 cheese)
    Italian Seasoning

    2. Sprinkle on top:
    37 grams Great Value (wal-mart brand) Finely Shredded Italian Style Cheese (Mozzarella, Provolone, Parmesan, Romano, Fontina, and Asiago)

    3. Bake at 450 until hot and the cheese is browned

    This makes 2 servings that are 355 calories each. Obviously you can change the exact amounts of ingredients (especially cheese if you want to lower the calories), but I put what I used since I know what the calorie count is using those exact amounts.
