goal is finally insight

  • Hello all. Today I am down to 167 and it made me think how close I am to finally reaching my goal. 155 is the goal my center set for me. I was shooting to 150. For those of you around my same height, 5'2", what is your goal? I am anxious to see the change in my body in the next 10lbs or so. It still seems like I have a lot of weight on me, so maybe 140 is what I need to be at to look like I want. I will just have to wait and see. For those of you close to goal, do you still have areas on your body where you still have inches you want gone. For me it is all over, but particularly my arms, calves and stomach. I had a few months where I went off track, but this summer weather is really helping me get motivated to lose the rest. I am really getting excited seeing my body change, I have been working out and doing my own version of c25k. Running is really challenging for me, but the more weight I lose and the more i run, the easier it gets. So for those of you close to your goal, is your body/size what you expect it would be? Have any of you lowered your goal?

I am 5'1 and originally the center set me for 150 which I thought was way too much. My BMI would have still been way to high keeping me in the obese range. I told them I was 130 for most of my life so that is where I set the goal weight. But it may be that you are comfortable at 150. You may change your mind when you get to 150, but then you may find it works for you.. I would say go with what you are comfortable with..

    Cheers!
