    Whether or not you get a point for planning your meals but not sticking to the plan is up to you. You'll have to decide if your goal is to plan and then eat only what you've planned or if your goal is to learn to plan your meals and snacks every day, whether or not you follow the plan exactly... Planning is a HUGE step for most of us and even when we aren't able to stick to our planned menus for one reason or another, having planned the day is still a big help.
    Ha! This is making me think ahead to the NEXT challenge... I have gotten pretty good at planning out great menus. Then life intervenes ... When to exercise (seems like I'm always too hungry or too full - then not hungry at all for hours *after* exercising)? When to eat if I'm not hungry at the planned eating time - do I cram in two meals and a snack worth together later? How to eat the planned meal if I end up being away from the planned food?

    It's a work in progress, that's for sure. Next challenge, I am going to have to focus on eating ONLY what was planned

    This thread is actually only for challenge record keeping, that's why it's pretty quiet. We edit our original posts and tally the points there each day, but do our chatting in the daily SBD chat thread. I hope you'll join us to chat about your challenges and victories. You'll get lots of feedback and encouragement from those doing the challenge and also from those who aren't doing it this time around.

    April 16 - Didn't cheat (wasn't online) - 1 pt!
    April 17 - Didn't cheat (wasn't online) - 1 pt!
    April 18 - Didn't cheat (wasn't online) - 1 pt!
    April 19 - Didn't cheat (wasn't online) - 1 pt!
    April 20 - Didn't cheat - 2pts!
  • May goals-

    no unplanned after dinner snacking at all

    get 10,000 steps daily

    1 11163 steps, no unplanned snacking 2 pts (not online)
    2 575 steps, no unplanned snacking 1 pt (not online)

    3 10224 steps, no snacking 4 pts
    4 11645 steps, not so good on the snacking 2pts

  • My May Goal

    30 mins of exercise every day. (whether it is running, walking the dog, playing Wii...something active each day!)

    5/1 - Running 30 mins 2 pts
    5/2 - nothing and didn't log in 0 pts
    5/3 - walked for 2 1/2 hours (took 3 yo DS to the train park) 2 pts
    5/4 - ran for 40 mins 2 pts
    5/5 - played wii for 40 mins 2 pts
    5/6 - ran for 35 mins 2pts
    5/7 - Didn't do anything for 30 min or record lack of exercise 2 pts
    5/8 - Didn't do anything for 30 min or record lack of exercise 2 pts
    5/9 - Ran for 40 mins but didn't record it 1 pts
    5/10 - Didn't do anything for 30 min or record lack of exercise 2 pts
    5/11 - Ran for 40 mins 2 pts
    5/12 - Wii Active (upper body) 30 mins 2 pts
    5/13 - Ran for 40 mins 2 pts
    5/14 - Hiked for 60 mins 2 pts
    5/15 - 40 min run 2pts
    5/16 - in the pool with a 3 yo and a 6 month old for an hour and half!
    5/17 - 20 mins wii active abs + 1 pt (recorded but didn't do 30 mins of exercise)
    5/18 - didn't do anything...was sick 0 pts
    5/19 - Chest and back P90X (1hr) and Abs (15 mins) 2 pts
