  • Good morning ladies~Last Friday I hurt my back. I have been quiet for awhile. I have done some yoga to try to keep my back loosened up. I still owe 2 tags. I will get to them. Don't remember when weigh in day is. I weighed in this morning at 153. Three pounds to goal. Id do the happy dance but.......... I will catch ya all later. Pat
  • OMG!!!!!!!!! I just did my BMI calculation. When I started this journey I was obese. I was happy for the day I reached over weight. Today 3/23/2010 Im wading in the waters of normal. I have always disliked the word "normal". What exactly is a normal person? How does a "normal" person act?? How does it feel to be what the world deems normal? Im going to find out from this day forward. I cant go back to obese. That was a bad place after a divorce. struggling to figure out who I was. trying to deal with the stress of suddenly being single. while dealing with the loss of my Mother and 3 Aunts in 4 months time. Now I will learn day by day what it is like to be in a normal weight and better health. Normal is just another word in the dictionary. OK LADIES WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER! WE CAN DO ANYTHING WE SET OUR MINDS TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pat

    In this case "normal" means being one of the extra-normal people (at least in the US) that is at a healthy weight!.

  • Hi ladies,
    I worked off another tag this afternoon. My weight is bouncing, I really wish it would drop, but truthfully I've not stayed on plan eating wise. I've probably been eating maintenance calories. Back on plan. I'll pack all my food for tomorrow.

    How is everyone doing? My allergies have started acting up, but I got some claritin today and hoping to feel better tomorrow so I can go run. The weather has been beautiful.

  • Ooooh two tags for me!.. Beware ladies, Wednesdays are the day I have the strength training class and martial arts practice.

    I am wavering on fighting in the tournament on Saturday, but I will be taking the qualifying test, so even if I do not fight in the tourney, I can fight in any event after that that I want to.

    We will see.

    I just finished the last day of my Strength Training class. Since it was the last day, he really worked us. I was about to die, but I got 2 tags done!!!

    I am not going to make it to fight practice, cause my ride is sick. But I am off to work in the garden while it is still light out.

  • Whew! I'm so tired from working off my tags I can barely type this. I feel good though. I'll tag 6 more people tomorrow. At this rate, I'll actually meet my exercise goal for this challenge! Thanks ladies, I credit all of you!
  • Hi everyone! I worked off another tag yesterday afternoon jogging with my boss. It was fun! And I've picked up another tag, woot! Awesome! It's great that we're all moving this challenge.

  • Well we're all quiet!! I did another hour of P90x last night, so I've got another tag finished - I'm all caught up

    Hope everyone is having a good day. My weight is still bouncing and doesn't look like I'm going to have a big loss this week either. I think it's starting all the exercise back hard core (my muscles are super sore) so I'm going to assume I'm holding water weight. Maybe by the end of the challenge I'll be back to loosing steadily again.

    Pat- way to go on your weigh in. It's so cool to see you so close to your goal weight. I hope to be there one day!

  • Well, when I go off program, I jump with both feet. No slight slide here. I'm afraid to even go near my scale, but I will do it when I wake up tomorrow. I already have a plan set to get back on track. Sometimes I just don't know what's wrong with me. I don't like being this big, I know what to do to change it, but I just don't do it. What is my problem?!?!!?! Seriously.

    Ok, I have a couple more tags to work off and I have to tag some people for previous work offs, so I'll definitely write more tomorrow! Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!
  • No loss this week-still at 218. Oh well, I'm hoping it's the exercise, but truthfully I've not been all in on my eating. I'll hit the grocery store tomorrow on the way home from work and get back on plan completely. Now to make a healthy dinner Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Don't forget to weigh in!
