  • Louisa- Vive is aerobics I believe by Les Mills I took it at a gym here and it was pretty good. We used a light ball through out most of the class and then used a tension type rope to do some leg exercises. You can probably google it to find out more. Just taken it once.

I like Turbo Jam a lot and would recommend that as well as Zumba!!!

How do you like Jackie Warner's dvd I just tried it 2x the past week and I really like it is probably something that I would buy. I have checked it out from the library to try it. The only thing I am not crazy about is how fast she goes. So I just slow it down a little bit. But love the workout, goes by fast and love the sore feeling afterwards!
  • 3/1: 100 squats (really, I'm counting this as a day off)
    3/2: 20 min. 30DS
3/3: 40 min. CT (Jackie Warner)
3/4: 60 Jackie Warner Circuit Training.
3/5: 50 min. treadmill (walking), 15 min. Jackie Warner CT
3/6: 40 min. Jackie Warner CT

helpmelose: I've watched a few Zumba videos on YouTube and it looks like great fun. I've even looked up to see if there are classes around, but I need to find a video. I looked up Vive and didn't find anything. My sister does the Turbo Jam and likes it too, so thanks for the recommendations. I really like Jackie Warner's videos. I checked her first one out of the library and decided to buy it, along with her new ones, which got better reviews, and which I like better in some ways. She does move fast, and that's what I've been working towards--keeping up! I must say, once you get to know the routine, and what comes next, you can sort of be prepared, and not take as long to go from one to the next. I love that it goes so quickly, but still always say Thank you, God! when it's over. lol. I like the 30 Day Shred, but wish you could automatically set it up to play two in a row, or I wish they were longer than 20 minutes. I used to be able to select a second one and hit play, but anymore, I get through one and I'm uninspired. Maybe I need to mix it up with something else.
