Back and need motivation!

  • I cannot for the life of me remember my old password (my old username was 2ndChance09) and I don't have the e-mail that was associated with my account so I decided to just make a new account name!

Not sure if anyone will remember me but I joined a year ago and was pretty active for awhile. The bad news is that I was not able to stay on my program due to a lot of personal things going on but the good news is that although I haven't lost any weight I haven't gained any either. So I am starting fresh. I just bought a treadmill and have been using it and am trying to eat better. I really need to do this. I am so tired of feeling ugly, fat and sluggish. My plan is to work out on my treadmill 5x a week and eat healthy...so I will see how it goes and will try to come here to update when I Can!

BTW it feels good to be back!
  • Welcome back, Liz. Not gaining weight during your time away is a big accomplishment! Congratulations!

I wish you the best on your continuing weight loss journey.

    Cheers,

  • It's so awesome that you were able to maintain your loss!! Welcome back
  • Thanks for the welcome back! This is always the site I come back to because everyone is so sweet and supportive! Hopefully this will be the final time I will return! I want this so bad! I am just ready once and for all to lose this weight!
  • Welcome back!
  • Sounds like you're good and ready to take another shot at this!!

Just know that losing weight and any amount of it IS a doable thing for any one and every one - yourself included, regardless of your circumstances, regardless of your past history.

People ask me all the time how I lost so much weight, they can't even lose 10 lbs and I tell them - that I decided to. Yup, I realized that I didn't have to be fat if I didn't want to and I made the decision to lose the weight and live up to my full potential. It was upon making that decision, and the ensuing commitment (cause' lord knows motivation doesn't last very long and never seems to be around when the ice cream, cake and pizza is) that I stopped making excuses and started finding solutions. I then devised a plan and stuck to that sucker like glue. Like glue, tweaking it as needed of course.

I'm glad you're back and rearing to go. I look forward to hearing of your progress!!
  • Liz - I think you should be proud of yourself for being here today...willing to stand back up and fight. That's an accomplishment in and of itself. Welcome back! Congrats on your new plan!
