Hi, I'm Melani. I'm a 42yo single mom and grandma from Michigan. I posted here a couple years ago under the name 'vegani,' but registered again with another name for a few reasons:

1. I don't remember my old password.

2. I'm no longer vegan, so the old name doesn't fit.

3. I've gained about 60 pounds since I last posted.


I hope I can be a regular participant here, and give as much support as I get.

Sounds like you're ready to get back on track with your new name, new password and new plan - the support you need is here - we'll all be here to cheer you on.

Glad to have you back with us! I'm sure you'll be a wonderful addition to any of the many forums here. There are bunches of people here with more to lose and some with less - the bottom line is that we all have to do it a day at a time. The good thing is that we'll have lots of company along the way.

I've only been here a few months myself, having NEVER been part of an online forum. What has been so eye-opening is how much it has helped me. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or defeated, I just log on and read some of the success stories, complete with their before & after photos - or read about others still dealing day to day with their challenges - and before I know it, the time has flown by and so have all the thoughts of cheating or giving up.
