Blueberry orange smoothie - 280cal

  • I know smoothies can be made out of anything that will fit in your blender, but I tried this mix this afternoon as a snack and loved it. I wrote it down so I remember it later. Quick, easy, and fairly low cal.

    Here's what I used:

    - 1 cup (8oz) fat free vanilla yogurt (98 cal)
    - 1/2 cup blueberries (41 cal)
    - 1 cup 100% unsweetened orange juice (105 cal)
    - 1/4 cup oatmeal (36 cal)
    - 1/2 cup ice

    Blend until smooth. Total: 280 cal

    Sounds pretty random, but I thought it was delicious. And I felt truly full after it too
  • Thanks for the oatmeal idea! I love blueberries and orange juice together in a smoothie. A little raspberry and banana is fantastic in this mix as well.
