  • I hopped on the scale this morning, and there below my needing to be painted toenails, said the magic numbers - 122, my goal weight. Inside I felt a flourish of excitement, but I knew it was to good to be true. So I weighed again. 122. Still, couldn't be right - I don't feel like I'm at goal.

    I weighed again tonight, 123.5. Which is fine I just need to start shaping up, working out.

    But seeing the numbers on the scale really made my day I haven't seen those numbers in YEARS. It made me feel that much motivated to finish the end of my weight loss!

  • How exciting!!! Congratulations!!! I would go by the the 122...my weight always goes up a little (sometimes as much as 3 or 4 lbs) later in the day after I've eaten...even after I've had something to drink. I always weigh myself before anything goes in my mouth for the day...that's the "TRUE" number I go by
  • Congratulations. I agree with the above poster weight fluctuates during the day because of what we are eating and drinking. I consistently weigh first thing in the morning.

  • Congrats, that's awesome! I also agree with the others saying to use the morning weight - I can fluctuate as much as 3-5lbs during the day depending on what I eat and how much I drink.

  • Congratulations!!! I'm sure you're just elated to see that number on the scale. Shoot, I get excited when the scale goes down a couple pounds! I can't imagine how it will feel to accomplish what we've all set out to do.
