  • It's a new week. Let's hope our other ladies find their way back now that the site is functioning most of the time again.
  • I don't follow Mediterranean Diet exactly, but my doctor recommends it as a healthy diet to follow. I don't post here often but lurk here occaisionally. Does anybody have any good recipes to use for the holidays ?
  • B- 1/2 cup egg whites w/onion and peppers, whole wheat toast with sf jam
    S- 100 cal pack of almonds, 2 hershey kiss
    L- tomato/cucumber/mozz salad, 1.5 whole wheat pitas w/hummus, 1 large banana

  • bargoo-I don't know if you have the sonoma books but the cookbook has some holiday recipes in the back.

    B: Greek yogurt, blackberries, strawberries, homemade granola, sugar free latte
    L: smoky slow cooker chili, slice of rye bread
    D: turkey enchilada, broccoli with lemon and dill, glass of pinot grigio.

    May have that dessert again tonight. it was really good. I can afford it calorie wise.
  • B: hemp shake (yogurt, banana, hemp powder, almond milk), 2 coffees with milk
    L: buffalo chicken quesadilla and raw vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, broccoli, carrots)
    D: chicken-noodle soup from a dried-soup mix, celery sticks with peanut butter and a babybel-lite cheese disk
    S: is about to be a glass of white wine

    Here's my yessterdays -

    L: Wholemeal roll with leftover veg stir fry
    D: Wholemeal pizza with smoked salmon and light philadelphia, 6 glasses red
  • & Here's todays -
    L: Stir fried vegetables with brown rice
    D: Steamed asparagus, baked sweet potato slices, mixed veg, wholegrain rice
    S: Grapes and strawberries
  • Here's my menu today. Believe it or not, I'm not getting tired of these turkey enchiladas-they are THAT good.

    B: smoothie with greek yogurt, banana, frozen blueberries, whey protein, sugar davinci syrup, sugar free latte
    L: smoky slow cooker chili, rye bread, apple
    D: turkey enchilada, broccoli with lemon and dill
    Dessert: Tunisian orange, date, and pistachio salad.

    S: coffee w/milk
    L: turkey/avocado/artichoke panini w/a handful of baby carrots
    S: babybel-lite cheese disk
    D: spring rolls, veggie chow mein, a glass of chardonnay, maybe 2
  • Hello Ladies,
    I started wave 1 again on monday just ot get back on track. I read the chapter on food journals 3 weeks ago and started it. Ill create a thread about it cause I think its important.

    Anyways: here it is:

    Breakfast: cheese, red and green pepper omelette (about 2-3 eggs)
    Lunch: Chili with brocoli on the side
    Dinner: Lime pork with ratatouille.

    Exercise: 30 mins of step training 30 mins of walking.

    L: Wrap with feta, lettuce, pepper, avacado, tomato, garlic mayo
    D: Wholegrain pasta with tomato and chili sauce
    S: An orange, a pear, some kiwi berries
  • B: Shredded wheat n bran, low fat milk, banana, sugar free latte
    L: Cashew Chicken Salad
    D: Turkey enchilada, tunisian orange, date and pistachio salad

    Pilates class. I'm out of clementines so no more dessert right now. I think that's a good thing.
  • B: Steamed zucchini, tbsp olive oil and balsamic vinegar
    L: Brown rice, sultanas, tomato & spices
    D: Steamed brussel sprouts, baked yam slices.
    S: Sun dried tomatoes, walnuts, dried apricots
  • I hit 50 grams of fiber yesterday! I'm surprised I didn't spend the night in the bathroom, LOL
  • Been really busy these past few days. Been following the mediterranean way of eating fairly well, except i've been drinking WAY too much.. That stops today
