New here and wanting to start SBD

  • I have been reading everything I can trying to understand the diet and what you can eat and not eat. It looks like it would really help me since I eat tons of bad carbs. The only thing is that I haven't seen anything about being a vegetarian on this diet. Is it possible? What things could I eat??? Eggs for breakfast and beans for lunch and dinner? Any help would be appreciated
  • to The Beach. It IS possible to do SBD as a vegetarian - we have several who will be responding to your questions shortly. In the meantime, please keep on reading and do come and join us in the November Phase I Thread and the Daily Chat where we talk about anything and everything.

  • Hi there, Isaiahsmom! I am a vegetarian on SBD and I haven't had any problems following this plan at all. I can make any recipe, and just substitute veggie crumbles, tofu or beans for the meat. If you look around here on our forum, especially in our FAQ section, you'll find lots of ideas for breakfast alternatives and helpful information for getting started on this plan. Good luck!
