I decided today to start.
I've been just doing a 5k a few times a week - today I decided to attempt a 10k!
I was also going to do weights, but my body I think had enough with the 10k (did it in about 73 minutes - just under 12 min miles!)
wow you go girl! I attempted to run tonight and lasted a minute! haha
I do do last chance workouts though. I beat myself up on that treadmill with the incline all the way up and walking as fast as I can without jogging. =)
I just like to finish my week before weigh in with a bang! It feels good!
I don't really do a last chance workout in the sense of it being immediately before weigh-in or it being any more difficult than my other weekly workouts, but I have noticed better results if I workout the day before weigh-in. My main reason for not doing a day-of last chance workout is that I don't eat before weigh-in.
No, I never do a last chance workout. I have found that I get better results on weigh-in if I make sure to drink a lot of water the day before.
