the ice cream is calling me

  • I got these Drumsticks to have as a dessert every night. They're only 140 calories, but I've already hit my 1800 for the day. I am seriously holding myself back right now. Ugh!
  • Darn, I love those things myself. Maybe just brush your teeth and call it a day? That seems to work for me.
  • It's calling you? Treat it like a nasty ex calling you on the phone and DON'T ANSWER the thing!!!!
  • It can't call you honey... YOU'VE CHANGED THE NUMBER!

Oh... and get it out of your house if it's causing you problems. Problem solved!
  • Thanks guys! I think I've moved past it now. In a few minutes I'm gonna clean the house and start getting ready for bed.
  • No, that's me calling you to tell you to toss out the ice cream.
  • Yep I agree, don't buy that stuff, it's best left in the store
  • Ice cream is the food that I have the very least control over. So therefore, it will never, ever be in my home. NEVER. I've made peace with that. Informed my family of it. Now if they or me, want ice cream, it's got to be done OUTSIDE of our house. This way I no for sure I will keep it to a single serving. If it's not in my house, it could call me all it wants - I just won't hear it. And of course, since it's not in my house, it's stopped calling me. Completely. Works perfectly for me.
  • I'm with Onder -- if something off my plan is calling my name, I pitch it right away then go for a walk...And what I usually do is buy these items as singles, not in packs. It costs a bit more, but having one when it is in my plan is great -- having a bunch in the fridge calling my name is downright unpleasant...
