Need some accountability

  • After much research and for my own reasons, I have decided that I MUST not weigh myself daily or even weekly. I do my measurements on the 18th of each month, so tomorrow I will weigh-in and record both. I will then get rid of the scale. I will weigh on the 1st and 18th only.

    I'm really wanting to give this a try for a month and see if it doesn't help me deal with some of the "mental games" I'm struggling with.

    So, tomorrow, would someone please ask me if I have done this? TIA!

  • I, too, have put my scale away. It doesn't work for everyone, but it truly works for me. Good luck with your new approach! Hang in there!

  • Yes I did. Thanks for the "checking in". I removed the batteries from the scale and put them downstairs. I am determined not to weigh in again until the 1st.

    My weight is holding steady at 206 (UGH), but I have lost 3.5 inches off my waist and 3 inches off my hips this month!
