Newbie Here!

    I am new to the MRC forum on 3FC. I started MRC in July, and I have done well so far. I am on the Metabalance plan. I just wanted to introduce myself so that I can start participating in some of the threads.

    There is a lot of great advice and success stories here, so I hope that we all continue to encourage each other!

    Welcome. 3FC is a great resource for us and everyone is really helpful. What is the metabalance plan exactly?

    Thanks lmickley! I have diabetes, so I am on Metabalance (MB). On the plan, I can have 2 starches, 3 proteins, 2 vegetables, 2 fruit, and 2 dairy choices per day, plus the 3 HNS. I am not sure how much this plan differs from the normal plan. From what I have been reading here, the normal plan switches menus every couple of weeks (?), but the MB plan menu does not change..or at least not yet.

    Our plans only change according to your weight (expect in the first 11 days it is more restrictive). Well, your plan sounds like it is well rounded. Good luck to ya!
