I just checked the calendar. I am completing week 10 starting week 11 tomorrow. The good news is I am back where I left off. Many of you know that I lost most of my weight on my own over a period of 5 years. It was slow but going down. Then last November I got got care-less and the numbers started creeping back up. By May of this year I was back up at least 20#. I knew I had to do something or I was going all the way back-pushing 300.
I had perused 3FC a year ago when things were going well. This time I jumped right in. In 10 short weeks, I am back into new territory-212 was my lowest weight last year. As long as I stay vigilant, I will see 199 before the end of the year. At this point, I'm not really concerned as to when it happens because I now know as long as I stick OP it WILL happen.
The good news for me is that following South Beach has become second nature for me. If it's not on plan, I don't eat it.....and I don't crave anymore, so it's not a big deal. I am not hungry because I eat alot. At some point I will venture out, but there is no need to right now.
I appreciate all your support and try to tell you that every day. Losing weight by myself was not fun. Sitting next to my DH every night while he gobbled everything he could find and not gaining an ounce was not fun either. He is eating healthier, too. Although he isn't aware of the reason, he seems to not crave the junk like he used to.
Last, but not least, I am totally off BP medication. In fact, my readings were so low on meds, that I got concerned. Blood sugar is stable, too. That of itself is reason to keep going.
Thanks everyone for being here for me.
