  • SO I started my journey with Herbal Magic on Feb 2 2009 Starting at 176.2 lbs. My goal was to hit 120 lbs.

    I did commit to this program very much as I figured Im spending the money I should buckle down and do it.
    Back ground information is....
    I have an auto immune disease. Graves Disease. I was put on medication that assisted in putting on weight and making it very hard to get the weight to budge. As recommended by my endocrinologist that I not walk for even more then 10 minutes at a time due to heart issues a common complication for graves.
    Also Im very very anemic... which energy wise makes for NO energy lol. ALSO I had gestational diabetes with my Last child and was very very scared as the scale kept going up that I would have the diabetes return.
    I joined and started taking the herbal supplements and following the diet they suggested.
    My daily intake was
    2 Proteins (ie 5 oz chicken breast= 1 protein)
    2 Starches (2 pieces of Rye bread = 1 starch)
    2 Fruits ( 1 Cup grapes strawberries etc = 1 fruit)
    3 Veggies (1 cup broccoli or cauliflower or cukes = 1 Veggie)
    1 Dairy ( 8 oz milk or 1 oz of cheese = 1 dairy)
    2 Fats ( 1 tsp margerine 1 tsp Mayo = 1 fat)
    and a Free Exchange. = any 100 cal snack or 1 skinny cow fudgsicle or 2 tbsp fat free dressing)
    Doesnt seem like much but this is purely for weight loss purposes. And with the supplements I wasnt feeling hungry or starving.
    I enjoyed this diet and look forward to stab and mait and keeping this weight off with the help of the ladies at my centre.
    Since losing the weight I have so much more energy. Sleep better Can exercise better safely.
    I also have noticed a huge change in my posture. Crazy isnt it.
