I realize now that I was very uncomfortable with full body pics for the last ten years. I decided to post a few from a wedding I performed in the woods. We were on our way back and drove over an amazing bridge. My baby did the same thing in every photo -- the rushing river is a lot more interesting than a great photo op. I appreciate everyone's positive feedback on this site and have found much-needed support here. Especially on hard days or those really crazy months last winter when I could feel the weight slowly creeping back on.
After stalling at 145 last winter, I found the little "push" I was looking for here, the YMCA, and my favorite fitness magazines (Runner's World, Weight Watchers, and Women's Health.) I am wearing dresses again and wearing my hair down, which are both things I didn't do for a long time because I thought I looked terrible. Just some of those nuances that low self-esteem can create over time.
I have posted pics a couple times before, but love seeing current photos of everyone's progress and have found myself just completely blown away by the difference in a smile on your faces after having accomplished so much. I see a difference in mine too. Thanks again.
