I just cleaned up the kids supper dishes and when I was taking away my 2-year-olds dish, there was a good amount of rice and mushrooms left. I used to go ahead and finish that up - but I didn't this time.
I have already eaten (okay inhaled) my dinner and just need to wait until my brain knows that I put something in my tummy. I'm NOT still hungry - I had a cup of brown rice and some beef stroganoff sauce over it, beef, mushrooms, onions.
I HATE that I do this!! I use all sorts of excuses. You know them, I'm sure. But just this once, I didn't do it. It's okay to throw food away...no little starving kids in ____insert country here____ will know.
