ok, so I came across this discovery. It's called an avocado milk shake. You put some variation of the following things in it:
avocado
milk (I used almond milk, no sugar)
vanilla
cinnamon
(I also added splenda)
ICE
I also added coconut oil. My Dr said to eat lots of avocado and coconut oil, because they are good fat and will help make up the calorie deficit when eliminating carbs. BUT, it also occurred to me that the avocado didn't really do much flavor wise but did add creaminess (and lots of vitamins and fiber). So one might be so inclined to make a variation like this:
coconut oil
almond milk
ice
vanilla
designer whey chocolate shake mix?
maybe also add some dark chocolate chips? Lindt Excellence 85% cocoa has 5 net carbs in about half a bar. smash it up and put some in.
The more ice you add the thicker the shake will be. My first shake was more like ice cream and I put 1 whole tray of ice cubes in.
