  • Civakas:
Yay! Has your family not seen you since you started losing weight? That's ALWAYS been one of my favourite parts of weight loss... a significant change in how healthy and great you look, and surprising your friends/family with it.

    Forestroad:
Holy! You and me woman, we're gonna be rocking the 140s thread together soon! Keep at 'er!!!

    BeautyandtheBeast:
Oh no! Have you tried any plateau-breaking methods? Read through and try a few! They can help!

    Ruby:
Yay! Congrats on almost being no longer being overweight! I've still got until I'm about 145 before I'm no longer overweight by BMI standards! Keep plugging away!

    College:
    OFFICIALLY!

    blackbelt:
that's so frustrating! Have you tried any plateau-breaking methods either? Maybe treat the lack of movement as a plateau and try a few of them out? (I left a link in my message to BeautyandtheBeast) But like Skinny said, it WILL come off. Plateau breakers just might give it the shove it needs.

    Skinny:
Congrats on the new low!!! Don't you just LOVE seeing those?

    Aurora:
Yaaaaaaaaaaaay! Seeing a loss after a long plateau is the best thing in the world!!! Wayta go!!

    And as for me...
150.6 this morning, thankyouverymuch!!! It's the lowest number I've seen since I last fell off the wagon months and months ago. Probably in Januaryish... Anyhow, it's GREAT to see! Forest and I may be outta here soon if we stay OP!
I'm changing my ticker down to 151.0 at least!
  • Congrats Jelbb! You are so close to breaking the 150s!

As for myself I'm at 156.4. So 0.4 down from a couple of days ago. Yay it's going in the right direction even though it's TOM. Now I'm off to the lake for a week and hopefully I don't forget to pack my self control...
  • Thanks Jelbb, and congrats!
  • Phew! After about 4 weeks of going back and fourth between 150 and 152, the scale finally read 149.6 this morning. It feels amazing to finally see a 4 after that 1.
  • Way to go, Kimmie!!!!
  • operation good for you!!!!! at least it is going in the right direction
Kimmy congratulations !!!! Good for you that is AWESOME
For me I am at 158.8 so another .2 down
  • Hi ladies! Everyone has been doing so well! Wish I could say the same. Something triggered me and I've been pigging out the last few days! TOM is over, so I can't blame that. I made the mistake of eating a lot of crap and I turned into a vacuum cleaner! I gained 2 lbs. I saw a few of you planned out 1200-1300 calorie meals for a week or two...I need to do that. That's what helped me lose weight before!
  • GAIN! 157 today (from 154.8 yesterday) but we did a 15km hike in the mountains and i am SORE, so i'm hoping my muscles are just holding on to water still...
  • I've had consistent loss the last couple days, and am down to 156.2 today. But in my head I keep thinking 166.2 because I still can't believe I am in the 150s!
  • Jelbb- How was your weekend?

I had 5 high school friends up for the holiday and it wasn't pretty, food-wise, but could have been a lot worse. Everything went in the food log, even the fourth where my calorie balance was about 500 out of whack, intake over output. I did at least run 5mi yesterday, and I have spin this afternoon, at which time I'll weigh in. OP this week and 140s here we come!!
  • UGH! I don't know how it is possible to gain 5 pounds in 1 weekend, but it happened. I'm hoping it's water retention due to TOM and drinking a TON of beer Saturday, which cause me to be seriously dehydrated. Anyway... BLAH. I am very frustrated. I want out of the 150s NOW!
  • Forest:
Hey honey! My weekend was off and on good and bad. I didn't KILL my calorie limits by any mean, but I did eat some gluten-free pizza yesterday which I think seriously overdid my sodium intake for the day, and took me just slightly over my calorie budget. Either way I was 151.0 this morning, so.. a gain of 0.4, but ****... that's nothing. So I'm hoping that if I stay OP this week, you and I will kick some *** and head'er into the 140s thread together!
  • Well my magical minute of being 150.5 is over for the time being, as I was up to 153 at the gym this afternoon. Some of that I think is water retention based on all the sodium I took in this weekend, but mostly consequences of eating pork dumplings and mozarella sticks. Yuck! On the good news side of things, I'm finding it so easy to pick up where I left off and get back into the good habits, and I don't foresee many speed bumps in the next couple of weeks, so I'm gonna keep plodding along.

It looks like there were a lot of losses the last couple of days! Ruby, you are plowing through the 150s!
  • I don't know what's going on but I've gained about 3 lbs over the weekend. TOM, is that you? Any other explanation would make me seriously depressed.

Clocking in a 154.3 today.... I was 151 on Friday!..... so close, now I'm so far away.
  • Joyra, don't get down on yourself! I do that often too... There are so many factors: time of day, being female, water, what you've ummm discharged lo l(not to be gross), etc, etc.

It'll be okay, just keep doing what you're doing!
