  • I generally put off posting progress pictures because I tell myself I should wait for some 'momentous' occasion (100 lbs. lost, maybe, or onederland, though I missed that window), but that's just kind of stupid, and frankly, I could use the reminder today that I actually am making some progress. So here I am, with pictures.

For larger (just what we need, right??) versions of any of the above:

    Nov 2004: 245 lbs
    Oct 2006: 215 lbs
    Jul 2008: 190 lbs
    Jan 2009: 179 lbs
    May 2009: 165 lbs
    random close-up from this month

It's taken almost three years to get this far, but it's definitely worth it. I'm between a 14 and a 12 right now, which is smaller than I was in high school, if you can believe that, and I'm sure you can. I think I weighed a little less in h.s. (around 160), but I wasn't even close to as toned as I am now. Doing yoga regularly has made a tremendous difference in the way I look in just the past five months. People are really commenting lately on the changes, which is weird, but kind of cool.
