New Blue Bunny Frozen Yogurt Treats

  • I just tried the Blue Bunny Aspen frozen yogurt granola bars (shaped like a candy bar) in the raspberry flavor and ohmygosh they are delicious. They're about the size of a frozen snickers candy bar, so pretty decent sized, and only 150 calories. It's coated in a vanilla yogurt shell and has little granola crunchies in the shell. They also make a Sedona granola ice cream sandwich, but those have more calories (190) so I haven't tried them yet. Anyone else enjoying these?
  • hmm those do look good! i am not sure if they have these near where i live, but if they do i will def pick some up. i wonder how many carbs are in them?
  • The Blue Aspen Frozen Yogurt Granola bars have 18 grams carbs.
The Sedona Granola Ice Cream Sandwiches have 34 grams carbs.
Both contain High Frutose Corn Syrup.
  • Yeah, they're definitely not low carb and definitely not a whole food... haha.
  • hmmm... sounds like something I would like. I will have to try to find those.

If you like Blue Bunny, they make some great ice creams. It's Blue Bunny Sweet Freedom, No Sugar Added, Krunchlites. They are ice cream, with chocolate shell with bits of toffee. Yummm! My dd said they are the best ice cream bars ever! LOL They do not taste like other No Sugar added stuff I have ever had before.
  • squeak that sounds really delicious! i wish i knew somewhere around here that carried blue bunny.
  • Aspen Bars vs. Sedona Sandwiches: Only One is Worth Buying
The Aspen bars are the way to go. You get 8 per box as opposed to 6 Sedona sandwiches. The Sedona sandwiches I've tried were not good. To read a critical review, head to the Simply Sandwiches blog. The title of the review is "Blue Bunny Goes to Sedona, Forgets Flavor." I thought the title and the review were quite accurate.
  • I bought some of the Sedona ones for my kids as a treat now and then. They completely love them! Two granola cookies with double chocolate frozen yogurt in the middle. I will not be eating them, because of the 190 calories. But I did notice they also contain Probiotics. All in all I guess they are good if it fits with your plan!
