  • Okay, a new challenge has been requested. I figured The official start of summer (June 21st) is a good target.

  • My summer goal is onderland.

    4.05: 227.4 (27.5 to go)
    4.12: 223.5 (23.6 to go)
  • Count me in for 22 pounds, putting me in the 170's.

    April 5: 201.2 (no change! I blame water weight and lingering bronchitis...)

  • Oh, a challenge for MidSummer! I love it! The longest day of the year, dawn at Stonehenge, the opening of gates between the worlds to let the Sidhe ride the mortal lands... can I call this the Enchantment Challenge?


    I am in for 25 pounds to get me UNDER 220 for the first time since I was pregnant with my now 14 year-old son.

    My starting weight for this challenge is: 244.
    My goal weight for this challenge is: 219.

    April 05: 239 (-5 so far)
    April 12: 237 (-7 so far)
    April 19: 236 (-8 so far)
    April 26: 233 (-11 so far)
    May 03: 231 (-13 so far)
    May 10: 230 (-14 so far)
    May 17: 229 (-15 so far)
    May 24: 231 (-13 again -- ARRGH!)
    May 31: 228 (-16 and 9 to go!)
    June 07: 230 (11 to go now)
    June 14: 227 (I sure am maintaining LOL)
    June 21: 225 (down 19, but missed my goal by 6)

  • I'm hoping for 20 lbs. gone, that would put me below 180 where I haven't been since I was 15 or 16 yrs old!!

    Goal is is 30 lbs .. putting me at 209. Damn, so can't wait
  • oo good idea.
    I'm aiming for (pause for the maths) 15lbs. Takes me to 185. I know that's not a huge amount but I'm aiming for 179 (an extra 6lbs) for the 14th, when I go to Spain for a week. I don't usually put on a lot on holiday, because I do a lot of walking generally, but I'm allowing myself a little lee-way for an oops.

    Today 200.6 (still)

  • I had a birthday goal of Onerderland. My birthday is June 30th. It is looking less and less likely I will reach it. I have been in a bit of a funk and having a hard time. I know I just need a motivation infusion, some better food in the house and more excersise time to get over it.

    That said, I will make a goal of 225. That will be 24 pounds.

    Numina, June 21st is Summer Solstice. My mother is Wiccan so it is a big day of enchantment and fun! So this could very well be an Enchanted Challenge!

    I edited my goal down to 24 pounds. I thought we have longer then we do!

    I hear you on that funk stuff --- I enjoyed my trip over spring break but I am definitely off my routine and low on energy/motivation since we got back. (I already hear you: "You don't have to be motivated; you just have to do it." And you are right!) This challenge is just what we need to start skipping back down the right path again, either blowing bubbles or handing out flowers to people we meet. (Now there's an image, hmmmm?)

    I am not personally Wiccan, but I really like the idea of their holidays --- based on such practical considerations as the turning of the year from winter to summer and yet so full of joy and celebration. You just can't have too much joy and celebration! And occasionally, I need a little dose of enchantment and fantasy as an antidote to all this .... reality.

    So, time to get out of the funk and back into the grove, baby! Last one to Beltane buys the other a Jello sugar-free pudding in their choice of flavor!
  • The Solstice? How exciting! I'm in, for 15 lbs. Just the fact that it would mean I'd been on plan for three months is more than enough for me.

    My starting weight is 267.

  • Count me in I'm going to push for 20 pounds...keep your fingers crossed for me. It would be so cool to finally be within arms reach of my final goal!
