congratulations, pounds per size can varry between people remember even though a pound is a pound a pound of muscle takes up less space on your body then a pound of fat. A good example is for my height and weight I have seem people range from a size 6 to 14 where I range from an 8 to 10 depending on the cut. You are off to a GREAT start you will get there before you know it.

Woot! New pants are my favorite thing!

Lbs. per size is a pretty individual thing. It's all about how your weight is distributed and where you lose first. If you ask ten different people who weigh 250 lbs what size pants they wear, you'll get a range of sizes. A perfect example: One of my close friends, who is the same height as me, was wearing a size 24 when she was 225 lbs. I am 252 and wear a 20.

I am about 246 and got into size 18's this week..I stared out at about 269 ish and was a size 24( they were big on me). Now in the 1980's a size 18 was around 200 lbs ( for me anyway) I think the pants size has changes since the 80's... But I would say I was a size 20...

Congrats to everyone!!! I have went from a 24 to a 20 as well!!! Keep Going ladies!!! I have no idea what size my goal will put me at but I am to excited to stop now!!!! My wonderful husband went and bought me an eliptical!!! I have been wanting one sooooooo bad, but he knew I would not buy it myself, because there is always more important things to spend that money on. I went to work at 3pm and at 11 pm when I came home there was a brand new eliptical set up in my room. In front of the TV of course!!!! I burnt 400 calories this Am and ran on it for a 1/2 hour!!!!
