  • Cereal and milk never fills me up! I wants 4 bowls And a couple hours later I want four more

Kashi GoLean is a bit more filling, but I still want a really big bowl.

Mostly, I just use cereal (granola) to add some crunch to my yogurt and berries.
  • I just finished a box of Post Trail Mix Crunch, but I also like the Kashis. I see Newman's Own has a line of cereals now but haven't seen them in any stores yet
  • i absolutely adore kashi go lean crunch, but i have to agree with the other posters here in that it doesn't satisfy me for very long. one way around that is that i take half a serving of my favorite cereal and i add one cup of puffed wheat. it adds so much more volume and keeps you satisfied for a little bit longer.
  • I have it just about every day. I measure out 1/2 C of TJ's Os and 1/2 C of some really high fiber cereal. I add 1/2 C blue berries and 1 small banana. I also use 1 C unsweetened almond milk and sprinkle some cinnamon over the entire thing along with Splenda.

Some days I'm hungry 2 hours later so I'll have a snack of some sort or a Soup At Hand for 80 cals.

If you have a TJ's nearby, go there. They have a wonderful selection and some of the best prices around.
  • I love Kashi Go Lean & Go Lean Crunch Clusters & Go Lean Crunch Honey Almond Flax. Like others have said, though, not enough to keep me form being hungry in a couple of hours. I mix the Clusters with lowfat vanilla yogurt and blueberries, that makes it stick around a little longer sometimes.
  • Hmmm. I have some low fat yogurt in the fridge. Why on earth don't I remember to mix it in with my cereal?
  • also a fan of kashi golean crunch - i eat it once a week or so. i don't have the same problem others do, though. it blows up my innards with such forceful gas that sometimes i don't WANT to put anything else in my stomach for hours afterwards. i try to coordinate my kashi days with the days DH has black beans and beer for dinner, so i don't feel so bad keeping him awake that evening. yes, it's that powerful.
  • I really like Nature's Path organic Optimum slim, Fibre one Honey clusters, Kashi honey puffed 7 grain...

I DO find these keep me satisfied till my snack 2-2.5 hours later.
  • I'm a big Fiber One fan.
  • I like one by Trader Joe's that's called something simple - like High Fiber Cereal or sth. It has bran-crunchy-thingies, nuts, raisins, and craisins. YUM!
  • So the most eaten cereal here is Kashi Cereal.. Do I find that in the special food section at the store.. Will give it a try.. Thank you..
  • I pretty much stick to TOTAL and oatmeal when I have cereal for breakfast.
  • My fav cereal is Quaker oatmeal squares Cinnamon. But

Recently ive switched to the Quaker weight control oatmeal (maple and brown sugar is good) and a hard boiled egg. This keeps me full WAY longer than cereal

Redneck- KAshi, well atleast at the sroes around here, can be found in the organic section.
  • Where I shop the Kashi cereals are in the regular cereal section. I love to have Kashi Go Lean with yogurt and blueberries for breakfast!
  • Quote: Where I shop the Kashi cereals are in the regular cereal section
The supermarket nearest my home, last time they remodeled and rearranged they took all the natural items and put them into the aisles alongside their conventional counterparts (on their own shelf, with a "natural/organic" sign; but in the freezer section the natural brands are still segregated, and there's also a separate refrigerator case for natural products). Makes sense to me, I don't see why some supermarkets segregate all the natural stuff anyway. What's the matter, are the health buffs afraid the Kashi is gonna get contaminated if it's next to regular Cheerios?
