  • So I stepped on the scales this morning to get a reading of 200.0. I burst out laughing and said "Seriously? C'mon. Couldn't give me that extra little bit to put me in Onederland?" Oh well. I'm sure that number will show up soon enough. I'd like to see it at least once before I go home for the holidays, just in case I wind up back in the 200s . I'm not really worried about actually gaining weight, but man do I bloat up from water weight retention anytime I go back home... last time it was 7 lbs worth! Yikes!

Anyway, when I do reach Onederland, it will be the first time since I can remember. I know I weighed in the 160s when I was in 5th grade and moved to the Netherlands, and that when I moved to Texas when I was 14 I weighed around 240-250... so, somewhere during that time period. I'm so excited!!
  • Congratulations on all your progress!
Keep going, onderland is definitely in reach for you now!
Can't wait to see you post that you've made it!!
  • Wow! You are doing fantastic! You are so close to goal....congrats!
  • LindseyLou - that just cracks me up. I know you will be into onederland really soon but I can just see you standing there staring at your scale saying "Seriously? Are you kidding me!!"

I think I would have been tempted to cut all my hair off, lol.

Great work over all - save a space at the bar in Onederland for me, I'm on my way!
  • You are such an inspiration...
now, how about updating those progress pics...???
  • Great job, I'm so happy for you! 181 pounds lost is amazing
  • It's funny how the scale just won't cooperate. I was hoping to be 215 for the holidays, but man, I am the same when I return home. I "gain" like 6-8lbs. Most of it I know is water weight. Right now I am trying to train myself into a new mindset that will hopefully help me not be tempted while I'm not home.

But congrats on the amazing loss! You're doing great.
  • Oh man!!! So close! I know you will be there very soon
  • Lindseylou, congrat's to you! You are doing so great, what an inspiration! I can relate to that scale story, sometimes I want to throw the thing.
  • You are my hero. My inspiration. Seriously. I started this journey at 376 and I look forward to the day when I can be as fabulously fit and healthy like you!

    /sappiness

Yah I think I might have cut off an arm or something
  • Oh, those scales! You've come such a long way, and are a real reminder of what can be achieved with hard work and dedication to The Job™.

Onederland is right around the corner for you. Super congratulations!
  • Thank you everyone for all of your lovely comments!

Ghost, I was actually planning on updating my progress pics whenever I dressed up for Ren Fest, but since my camera is terrible, I didn't bring it and my bf lost his, and no one else in the group ended up taking pics so it just didn't work out. I'm sure I'll have a few to post after Christmas when my family takes a whole bunch of pictures... I'm also getting a new digital camera, so I'm working on it! I promise!
  • Lindsey, I always love asking the super successful HOW???
  • 181.4 lbs lost?? I had to go back and read that again. Seriously! Congratulations. 3FC members like you are such an inspiration to people new to the serious weightloss.
