    I copy and paste and just tack on the new measurements. I'm far to lazy to do more than that.

    I *have* gone down a size . I edited my post to show sizes. I'm finding that I'm losing a lot slower now, but each pound makes a bigger difference at this size. Thank goodness for taking measurements!

    Well, overall I actually gained .5 of an inch but i lose 3.5 lbs in the last almost-2 weeks. I haven't been good, not counting calories and not exercising regularly, so that accounts for the inches gain, but the lbs lost--my body is just screwy!

    Anyways, it's the last week! My best cumulative loss was 5 total inches so far so I'd like to just lose more than that... at least -.75 inches more this week by New Year's!

    Anyone else want to check in?

    I made a little bit of progress. Something possitive to start the 2009 with. Are we going to re-start this thread a new in 2009? I hope so!! Thanks Pat

    COUNTDOWN TO SPRING: Inches challenge!

    I know we all would love to be a few inches smaller once t-shirt & shorts weather rolls around. I've always had that fantasy to lose a bunch of weight in the winter that people won't really notice under my winter coat and thick sweaters. Then spring will come and out comes the new spring sundresses and I can WOW everyone!

    Anyways, anyone who still reads this challenge, be sure to post your final results! Good or bad, it will be good to see how you've changed in the last 10 or so weeks since we started this. Hopefully it can be motivation for the start of 2009. I'll probably take my results on 12/31 AND 1/1 and post whichever is better. There's a night out on the town planned NYE so who knows how that will bloat or distort my body/results.

    Not even close to my 20 inches goal but hey... 2 inches from my gut, nearly 2 inches from my belly, and an inch or almost from my chest, waist, and thigh.... I'm happy to see those go. And my clothes DEFINITELY fit better.

    For anyone who wants to, I started a new spring inches challenge called The Biggest Shrinker. It's actually sort of competitive, maybe to inspire some more motivation. Even if you are not the competitive sort, come join us if you want to continue working on losing inches.
  • great idea! i used to do this when i want to curves. i will measure tomorrow! i can't believe i haven't done it already!
  • i just posted this in another thread..... i did my measurements earlier today and was very sad. i have the same waist measurement i had when i was pregnant. i had no idea. i didn't think i was that size! i am so depressed about this. but i did use my elliptical for 30 minutes today and i ate pretty well too. i need to get the 30 day shred!
