I want to participate... but how?

  • I just joined yesterday and want to get involved. I see various challenges but don't know how to get involved. I need a challenge. I need friendly competition.

    I can't even figure out how to post my goal tracker. Everyone has all this stuff in their signatures...

  • Signatures are disabled for new members until they have been here for 20 posts and 20 days. We had to put this policy in place to deter spammers.

    As far as joining challenges, for most, just click on the thread where the challenge is described and ask if you can hop in! The only challenge that has strict registration/signup guidelines is our Biggest Loser Challenge, which has a much more formal structure.
  • Look in 'chicks up for a challenge,' and join a 5 pound challenge. One should be starting up again, as soon as someone wins this one. (Probably won't be me!)
  • Just dive in wherever you want to. There's lots to choose from. Good luck!
  • Thanks for the info. I've been poking around the challenge thread. The 5 pound challenge sounds good but I was thinking about the Halloween, Thanksgiving or Xmas challenge.

    A guy I dated a 3 years ago is finally coming to the states in November... possibly for us to get back together so I want to look as good as I can by then. I had lost 25 pounds the last 3 months we were together so I was looking a lot better then. I did Macrobiotics which was pretty difficult.

    I've decided to do a meal delivery program that is 1200 calories a day... which is great b/c it's takes a lot of time to enter your food in fitday.com.

    My sister wanted my family to apply for Biggest Loser family...
