Now the best thing I've heard was a couple days ago when my grandson said I was his best friend. He's 3 and is such a sweetheart.

honestly, I showed my baby sister my before and after face shots and she told me how crazy it was... she waited ten minutes and then sat in a chair - sighed and said "I wish I had a skinny face like you." I told the wee one she must be on the drugs and she was like "No serious, that i really cool about your face leaving."

Other than the nine year old... no compliments have been paid thus far. Then again - my family is a bunch of self absorbed morons. My mom heard about me losing weight and then decided she needs to force South Beach down my throat... but that is another blog entry entirely.

Last week, one of my residents told me that I look younger. Today, another resident told me that I looked pretty--and I actually feel pretty!

TOTALLY made my day!

My son put his arms around me in a big bear hug and said "Hey...my arms almost fit around you now!!" He's always hugging me and saying how proud he is. Such a sweet little guy.

My husband told me Saturday night that he thinks I am the sexiest woman alive and that he can't keep his hands off of me (and he couldn't). Part of me was like NO DON'T TOUCH ME, YOU'LL FEEL THE ROLLS, but I made myself relax when he hugged me. It's nice to be loved no matter what size I am, I am very lucky.

Today when I got my wax, my waxer told me that my skin was really starting to firm up from earlier this year. She said she's been noticing it the last few visits and she can really see a difference now.

That was awesome to hear, since my loose skin kinda bothers me a little.

well its more of an implied compliment... whenever my boyfriend looks at my butt me makes a kindof mmm grunt noise...hehe. im getting there. he knows how far ive ome and how self concious i am. its an ego booster.

My trainer told me yesterday that I'm the most motivated person she's ever met in real life. She says she's seen people lose weight and get in shape like that on television, but never in her life.

This is such a compliment coming from her as she's worked in gyms for 30 years.

Mine isn't really anything that anyone has said - it's that I've noticed a few guys actually checking me out OK - so I am very happily married but it's still pretty flattering when someone does a double take or, like the other day, I caught someone watching me pump my gas. Been so long since stuff like that has happened it took me a few times to realize they were looking on purpose - not glancing, grimacing at the fat lady, and looking away. Of course, I'm reasonably sure they are thinking "she looks pretty good for an old broad" but I'll take it..........

Yesterday somebody who used to babysit me said "Every time I see you, it never ceases to amaze me how great you look". It so made my day. and my week. or the year!

My niece's friend , she is around 25yrs old and cute as a button saw me at Walmart and said "O My goodness you have lost so much weight" of course I gave her a big hug and said "You are the first person to recognize, Thank you so Much"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
