how do you feel?

  • When you eat things with sugar or white flour now? - I accidentally ate meat with sugar in it the other day (I realised it after I started eating but at that point I was starving ) and I felt horrible the rest of the day. I was extremely tired and had a headache. I never get headaches. Is that typical?
  • I try to stay away from the white flour/sugars, and like I said on the daily, after a week of almost constant starch/flour/sugar, I felt sick, sluggish, and even though I only gained 2 lbs, had noticible "extra weight" around my stomach. Blech.
  • Whenever I have something made with white flour I feel very tired and achy and just plain blah, and anything with sugar in it just sets off my cravings for more sugar. For me, it just isn't worth eating that kind of junk anymore.
  • Heartburn, indigestion, tired, achey, horrible!
  • The feeling comes back that I want to eat and eat and eat. On self control...I hate it and miss it all at the same time.
  • I do have mini cheats on occasions...ie I'll eat a sample doughnut bite or 2 or 3 at the supermarker or the other day at work the chef made mocha coffee drinks for everyone and I had a small glass. Stuff like that doesn't affect me.

But if I eat pizza or something like that I feel after eating 2 slices like I used to feel if I'd eat 4-5. I'll just feel bloated and like I just ate a cow. Awhile ago I ate 2 slices of pizza and couldn't believe how crappy I felt. I used to inhale 2 slices. The book said that this diet shrinks your stomach and I definately believe that.
  • I had a small cheat last Friday (few bits of chocolate cake) and I felt really sluggish afterwards. I can honestly say I don't even crave things that are unhealthy for me anymore. I love SB!
  • Thin, it's exactly the same for me. I hardly ever get headaches, but when I eat sugar, I get one instantly. I feel sicker than sick. It's a good indicator when it sneaks into your food. Doesn't it make you mad, though? Oh well...it's just one more prooof (for me, at least) that I'm doing the right thing by giving up the sugar!
  • i feel constantly hungry, and really tired.
  • Very sluggish, like I'm trying to walk through mud.

Normally if I get white flour or sugar in something it is by accident so I also have a panic attach too. I just don't want to have to detox again. It feels so good to be in control I just don't want to ever go there again. I actually fear the cravings to the point that even on Phase II, I'll have an extra snack if I start longing for something rather then give into the carbs. It's a lot easier to put an extra couple of miles on the treadmill over a tablespoon of (natural of course) peanut butter then to try to get the carb cravings back into Pandora’s box.
  • I ate too much food porn Sunday at my mom's. I felt so sick Sunday night that I actually threw up twice at the end of the day. My stomach just couldn't take it!
