Whew! And the day is barely even started...

  • I'm feeling pretty good this morning!

Yesterday was my first 'diet day,' and that went pretty well, I think.
And today is my first gym day in a loooong time.
I really don't remember the last time I went to the gym.

ANYWAYS, my stepdad got me up at 6:30 this morning to see if I wanted to go with him, and I made myself roll out of bed - A triumph in itself!

So I went to the gym with him and here's what I did:

    >10 minutes walking on a treadmil with a 2.0 incline.
    >10 minutes on an elliptical ((This was originally only going to be 5, but I decided to stick it out! ))
    >10 minutes on a bike
    >10 minutes on a rowing machine at highest resistance.
    >10 MORE minutes on the elliptical!
    >10 cool down minutes walking on a treadmill.

So I'm VERY pleased with my morning workout today. An hour well spent! Now I just have to keep doing it...
  • Way to go nine paw! I think the hardest part is to get there, but once you are there its OK. That's my problem is getting there... I to have not been a few weeks and I desperately want to get back to it. Good luck and you'll do great.
  • I agree... Getting there is really hard. That's why I think it's easier to go with someone who's already going... At least that's how I'm trying to do things right now!
  • That was an excellent start of the day! I wish my gym had a rowing machine.
Keep up the good work and you will see results in no time.
  • Oh I loove the rowing machine... It's unfortunate your gym doesn't have one. I like it because I don't really know what else to do for my arms - And I don't wanna start on the weight training machines yet.
  • Go you!
  • wow ! awesome!!! sounds like it was FUN! I so envy you !!! now jsut stick to it and you will be smooth sailing
  • Sounds like you had an awesome work out!

Whenever I go off-plan foodwise, I go off plan with my exercise too... and while it's pretty easy for me to jump right back onto plan the next day for food.. exercise usually takes me WEEKS to get back into. =/ lol

I love getting a little momentum going with my exercise because I get all excited about it. Instead of dreading it, I think oooo how else can I get some calories burned off today?
  • Nice job, way to kick off your second day right!
