How much have we lost?

  • So with our lovely moderator Jane's permission, I'm starting up this thread for posterity. We often see people come through here asking, "So just how much can you lose on the Weight Watchers Flex plan?" Well, here's your answer!

We didn't start keeping track of total weight loss as a group until February of 2008, so that is the first month available. This post will be edited at the end of every month either by myself or our moderator to add the previous month's info. I think it will be very interesting and motivating to see just how much weight we can lose as a group over time!

Also included here will be the number of people who contributed to the weight loss effort each month, since that plays a large role in how much we are able to lose as a group. And do note that "contributors" counts everyone who posted any weight change in a given month, gains and losses alike.

So here it is, this is what the Flex plan can do!

    February 2008: -89.8 lbs
    March 2008: -62.6 lbs
    April 2008: -178.8 lbs
    May 2008: -144 lbs
    June 2008: -96.7 lbs
    July 2008: -90.4 lbs
    August 2008: -130.7 lbs
    September 2008: -60.1 lbs
    October 2008: -133.2 lbs
    November 2008: - 93 lbs
    December 2008: -57.4 lbs
    January 2009: -83.2 lbs
    February 2009: -61.8 lbs
    March 2009: -39 lbs
    April 2009: -28.9

Historical group total: 1349.6 pounds lost!
  • what a great idea! can I join in? I've been on WW Flex for two weeks now. what do i need to do to make sure my loss is counted for April?
  • It's never too late

The April Weigh-In thread is here:

A May weigh-in thread will be going up tomorrow, and the April thread will probably be locked Thursday morning, so you have until then to post your loss and add it to the group!
  • Thanks!! i just posted there
  • Who thinks we can break 1,000 pounds by the end of the year?
