Hello to Everyone,
I just wanted to share with you what an incredible past 9 months this has been for me.
When I went to my meeting in early July the largest size in a larger womans store barely fit me. Today I am able to enjoy wearing a size 18/20. I know I have a long way to go but I have my Higher Power, the Steps, the tools, my Sponsor and Sponsee to take the journey with me.
I went to my second OA Retreat this weekend. This is my family of choice who love and accept me and want me to succeed.
One of the most amazing topics were the Promises from the Big Book. I am a different person today and the person God wants me to me.
Thank God for OA and thank God for all of you.

No this one was in Michigan at St. Johns Seminary. The trees were in full bloom and I took long walks on the grounds.

I think OA is great. I have been to AA conferences but I've never been on a 12 step retreat. Sounds good.
