No dieting this week...feels weird

  • So, I've been moving all week and the movers are coming tomorrow morning to get all the heavy schtuff (YAY for 7 AM!!!) Anywho, I've been for some runs this week, but as for my diet...yah...not happening. I usually take a week off from exercising every 8-12 weeks, but my diet stays clean, kinda the opposite this time. I planned on taking some time off from lifting anyways because the left sector of my body was in pain from working out Anywho, I was at work tonight and I wasn't eating "diet" food and everyone freaked out on me...HILARIOUS. Everyone was talking about how weird it was to see me eating like a "normal" person...hahaha. I'm probably gonna gain a solid 3-5 lbs of water this week, but, hey...whatever. Sunday goes back to the delectable chicken and diet...WOOT!!! And, just as a side note, I haven't lifted since Sunday...but it feels like it's been 3 months as opposed to 5 days...kinda funny.
  • It's so funny how once you're into a routine a couple of days seems like an eternity. I went on vacation with my family last summer and we practically ate out at every meal and it just felt too weird. I hated not knowing the exact calorie count in my food.

People who don't pay attention to what they eat for one reason or another are funny too. My friends were thrilled when I went out with them one night and actually drank. It was the highlight of their evening. LOL
  • I know what you mean. Whenever I go OP everyone freaks out and are like I didn't know you eat that. I find the best part to be when I go OP and try things that I haven't eaten in months and am absoultly grossed out by them. Then I look at it and think about my old servings of that type of food and say yep that is why I got fat.
  • I feel the same way. I didn't excercise a few days earlier this week since I was exhausted from busy work days and I needed the extra time after work to cram for my boards this Friday. But after 3 days of not going to the gym, I had to go on day four and five because it felt like I hadn't been there in so long and the elliptical was calling out my name!
  • It's funny though, sometimes when I stop with the "patterns" I end up losing MORE weight. Like on vacation I try and make healthy choices, but it seems the change up is good for my body. And rather than the usual hour of eliptical everyday I do other work outs like hiking and walking. I guess change is good (sometimes... still not a big fan of change though, but every once in a while I can handle it).
  • Hang in there! I know what you mean about not exercising feeling like forever. Sometimes if it's only been a day it can feel like a week for me...
