  • I know this seems like a funny question but Im getting burned out on going to the gym and I want to buy some work out videos. Besides going on ebay and Amazon what stores can you buy them in? I have been to Walmart and Target and no luck in their DVD section.
  • I have the same problem here. I want to buy some, but I can not find them at Wal Mart or Target.
  • I buy them from Amazon. Collage Video is also a good website. If you have netflix, there is a huge selection on there and you can order them, check them out and then buy them. thats what i do.
  • www.collagevideo.com lets you preview videos, describes them and has user reviews. I also have Netlfix and I can rent exercise videos from them, use them and then send them back--and that adds a lot of variety. If you REALLY like one, then you could order it off the 'net. I haven't bought a video in a store for a long while.
  • I have seen WATP DVD's at Target and the Biggest Loser DVDs along with some others. They are not in the DVD section. They are in the fitness area where the weights and yoga mats are. I think you could find them at Best Buy also.
  • Ooohh Best Buy Thats a good idea.
    Thanks everyone
  • Ebay has the cheapest videos. That is where I get all my workout stuff!
  • Hey! Great topic, we all need variety to keep motivated, right? I'm lucky enough to have Comcast's "On Demand" service available, and I've been trying out some different fitness instructors/programs for "Free" in the Exercise section! You can try a couple of the freebies, then decide to purchase others via cable, as well.
  • I've found the lowest prices online at deepdiscount.com, but I also check amazon.
    Deep discount has free shipping.
Amazon is free shipping if you order over $25.

Best buy does have a good selection, but if you're into saving a couple of bucks order online.

I've also gotten dvds at TJ Maxx and Ross stores. They are usually cheaper, but not as good on selection.
  • Wal-Mart, Target, etc. are only going to carry a handful of exercise dvds, and even then only the most "popular" mainstream ones...Target is currently carrying the Yoga Booty Ballet set back in the fitness section, for instance...but 3 years ago they were selling the Winsor Pilates set. They simply sell what is most popular.

If you want the best variety-go to Amazon. On their dvds, they usually have Free Super Saver shipping, if your order is $25 or more. (Which I love...)

Cheaper than buying them in the store-no gas to drive there, no sales tax, etc.
  • theres a good website called demandfitness.com you can either pay $15 for a monthly pass or .99 for 1 day and they have "classes" for cardio, all kinds and weight training that you can do on your computer i heard about it from shape magazine
  • If you can't find them in the video section of Target or Walmart, try the sporting goods area. I have found more options there than in the regular video area.
  • I went to Walmart today and asked where their exercise videos were. They said that all of them were in this big bin and I had to search for them. So I was like 'ok..' and I asked the person, "Would I have better luck in the fitness section?" The guy just stared at me.

Obviously my Walmart has very few workout DVDs.. and today, it looked like they had none.

I'm going to Best Buy tonight and hopefully I'll have better luck.
  • All of the sources listed above and half.com. I have found some wonderful deals there - and much better shipping than ebay.

If you buy more than one video from the same vendor, the shipping on the second video is only $1.89 I just got another "bunch" today
  • I would like to order it online and everything.. but I'm a person who wants things NOW. It would be easier to order it, but it might take a few days..

I guess I could pay a little more for overnight shipping..

I was hoping to find it easily at stores near me, but I guess I'll just face the facts and buy it online. :P
