Pointer Sista's challenge: Week two.

  • The rules are simple... you get to earn 4 points per day, that is a total of 28 points per week. If you get 25 points or more, give yourself a reward. It doesn't have to be big, a new lipstick, pocket book, a pedicure, or time for you, just you.

    You can earn 1 point for drinking all your water , 1 point for eating clean , 1 point for your workout , and 1 point for doing what ever you forget or avoid. ie: taking your vitamins, or tracking all your food intake ...this is something you can decide.

    At the end of the week tally up your points. Make this fun, and remember you do deserve a reward...
  • Here is Sue's challenge:
    1. No mindless grazing
    2. 30 minutes of MOVING
    3. Eat veggies
    4. Nothing to eat after 8 p.m.

    I made a chart so I can keep score. Here's hoping I can get back on track.
  • Mine for the week:
    • 30oz water
    • Treadmill
    • ab workout
    • vitamins

    I will try to get the full 28pts. for the week.
  • I got 3 points for Sat and Sun, each, which brings me to 21 for the week. Yikes! I need to do better this week, for sure.

    Ok, my 4 challenges for this week will be:

    1) no junk food
    2) eat complex carbs
    3) get some exercise everyday
    4) when I feel like overeating, I promise to write out my feelings (stress, boredom, etc.) instead of eating them

  • I didn't get much water in today, and it's way too late to try and catch up....I'd never sleep!

    So today is 3.
    Will try to do better tomorrow.

  • I got 4 points. I seem to do that on Mondays, lol. Yesterday I started a journal to write and sort out my thoughts when I'm feeling the need to do some mindless eating. If nothing else, it kept me busy until the munchies passed.

  • 3 points today...I caught myself doing a little mindless eating around lunch time instead of just sitting down with a light meal. Darn those chips anyway! Oh well...they are gone now and I will bring NO more into the house. (poor Mom, she loves them)
  • I got 4 more points yesterday. That's 8 of 28.

    Sue - I know what you mean, hon. There are many foods I just can't bring into the house or I may inhale them. Neal buys candy bars while he's in town, and eats them in his truck. Well, he USED to... he can't drive now. I'll have to get him some to keep in the shed away from me, lol.

    How are you others doing this week?

  • Ok, I'm officially joining!!

    1. Track all my food for WW
    2. Get in at least 30 min of exercise on the days that I don't work.
    (working 12 hr shifts 3 days a week on my feet all day is enough those
    days)
    3. Drink more water.
    4. No chocolate!!!

  • Hi, I'm back and want in this week. I really did pretty good last week, but didn't get to post. I found it easy to eat only when hungry and eat until satisfied. Even did good eating out and at DD in-laws house on Sunday. I probably averaged between 21-25 pts for the week. So I am really proud of the fact that I did not overeat and I got my water in most days and remembered to take my vitamins everyday. I just didn't get to be as active some days as I would have liked. I'll be able to post each day now and hoping to do really good this week.

    I'm having issues w/the water...and it's only 30oz!!
