Like fiberlover, I have also been at this for 4 years. 1 lb a week is VERY steady... I have kept at this, and except for a short period of time, i have been pretty much on plan for all of that time. These days, I am *lucky* to lose 1lb in a month... be patient. I'm a slow loser, but I also lose in "spurts" where it seems like overnight I will have lost 5 or 8lbs and then nothing for another 2 months.
I weigh often because it does keep me accountable, but even though this is taking forEVER, I know I'm making the healthy choice for me for the long term.
I know it gets frustrating, but hang in there! It all works out in the end!
