Hi there!!! Newbie here....

    I'm new here...obviously...
    Here's about me:
    I used to be 190lbs around last year. I decided to start losing weight. At that time I cut what I ate by a lot and then used portion control and drank lots of milk. It got me down to 150. Then in August I got married. Since then I gained back 10lbs. And I never really got down to my goal weight of 135lbs..
    So yesterday, my husband and I started the south beach diet. Also, his father at the age of 50 had a quadruple bypass...I want to lower that risk for my husband starting now. Although I'm 21 and he's 24 if we don't start now, we never will..
    I think I'm going to like it here. I love to cook and experiment. I'm on the Discuss Cooking Forum also, under the same name. I'm excited about the diet as it creates new ways for me to be creative with my cooking!
