Sorry, ladies, but I used to grab the newspaper from my mom and read what the next week's hot school lunches were too. I just love to see what everyone else is eating on here.
I have been eating a lot of baked chicken for dinner along with my two cups of green beans. Last night, I made corned beef and cabbage from scratch for the first time. I also made traditional Irish soda bread. DH is 100% Irish so I wanted to "treat" him.
Abstaining and fasting on Good Friday so that will be "less is more" kind of day.
Cottage, no kiddies at this house (except me)
but I have already scoped out the sugar free chocolates and that is
my treat to myself this Easter.
Now, I am trying to find some sugar free jelly beans. The one thing I will miss is Peeps(they are so much cuter than than they are tasty) but as you can see I am doing so well this month that I am not going to break it for Easter. No way!
Grains and fruits for breakfast these days is a non fat yogurt and whole fruit smoothie(I posted in recipe section) with no sugar multi grain bread along with yes (drum roll) those blasted eggs and turkey bacon. I have only missed one day since January 1st on that. I think I might be holding a record on the most boring food plan but I'm happy.
My homemade chili w red beans (no sugar) or an assortment of raw vegetables for lunch is what I have been having these days. That will be my new kick (the assorted raw vegetables) for a while. I run in streaks.
All yours sounds yummmy.
