Its good to be home!

  • So, I've made it through my convention. Lets just say it wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst. The hotel was so awful...and lets just say the 'state of the art fitness facility' was a moldy room attached to the garage under the hotel full of broken, unsafe equipment. At least it was sunny and warm in VA so there was some great beach walking! It was a real long week but I made it, it's over, I'm home and I'm back on track. I'm also glad I don't have any longer conferences/conventions until the fall...it's such a relief!

I'm not that happy with the elliptical I bought, but in the end you get what you pay for and take a risk buying online. It does what it needs to do which is give me something to do at home if I get home from work late or it's -10* out. I've filled the fridge with veggies and used the home elliptical last night. I've got a doctors appointment this morning so I'm not going to the office until this afternoon so I went to the gym this morning.

I've officially reached the point of 'February Hate'. This is my least favorite month in New England where it is just bitter cold, you are sick of it, and just waiting for it to stay light later, get warmer and for things to turn green! Just a few more weeks!!!

How has everything been with everyone here? I feel so out of the loop! It's amazing how much a week can put you out of touch!

PS does anyone know where I can download last week's biggest loser. I had to miss it and I wanted to watch it but I can't find it repeated anywhere and can't find a place to download the episode. Any thoughts?
  • Welcome back. Sorry to hear it wasn't that great of a place.
  • Welcome back - isn't it good to get back into your own routine again?
