Having Chili for dinner - suggestions for corn bread sub?

  • I'm making my famous chilli tonight and luckily the way I make it is PH1 legal. The only thing is that I usually enjoy it with a thick slice of corn bread.

Anyone come across this issue and come up with a decent replacement?

I know I'm reaching at this point but do you blame me?!

    Thanks for any suggestions!
  • no, I don't blame you. I completely understand. I love cornbread and we always used to have it with our chili. Sorry to say, I just learned to do without.

  • Oh cornbread! How I miss it! But unfortunately, corn is a food to be avoided on the SBD. It's high on the glycemic index and is very high in sugar.
