Due to two strapping teenage college boys not working enough to move out... we moved them into our rec room and turned it into a dorm like room. It worked great! Now little guy has a room up stair all to himself and the 4 girls can finally split up into two rooms!

BUT..........I lost my exercise/tv room! Until we figure out what to do, it was put in an unfinished addition outside.
Protected from dirt and rain, but it is VERY cold.

Some, either especially cold or especially damp mornings it just won't work!
Hubby comes home at 4pm...."What are you talking about? It works fine!"

Until good weather starts again here, are we ruining it by keeping it outside, or is it just being finicky?

Could the humidity cause the inner gears (etc) to develop a thin layer of rust that could cause a problem?

That could be it! When hubby comes home it does work, but at 8AM and again at 12 noon, it still won't.

Hmmm......I wonder if a space heater in the room overnight would help.
I really hate those space heaters running without supervision though, specially at night.

You may need to get a service tech in to check the problem, but chances are good that the temp changes are not good for your indoor machine

Some days I'm tempted! Like today! 2 boys turned into 4 boys for a game of Airsoft.
There's loud music, food wrappers and stinky socks everywhere!
I'm so glad I can shut the Rec door though!!

I think the heater would help in many ways, keeping the place dry and warm is important for the machine to work properly...
