Dan - Thanks, I knew I could count on you.
I haven't been on these boards long, but from what I've read, you are a huge motivation to everyone here. You're right about the chips & nachos, knowing that I could have & didn't is a small victory.
I took my kids to Chilis yesterday for lunch and I really could have done some damage there, but I had chicken & shrimp fajitas & a salad.
And my DS kept tempting me with the dessert menu. So it could have been much worse.
Amy - Setting mini goals is a great idea. I've always had a problem with doing that. I've always just looked forward to the end results. I've seen other people with tickers for exercising & such, but didn't have a clue at where I should start. I bought Leslie Sansone's Walk Away Your Waistline the other day, it's a 3 mile brisk walk with a belt with stretch bands on it. It's great. I've started checking in on that thread daily too, hoping it will motivate me. I've come way too far to screw this up now.
Hi Cecilia - Thanks.
Angie - I'll definately check into that 6 week makeover. I haven't consistently lost 2 lbs a week the whole time I've been doing this. Thanks.
So far today I've been POP. I just have to keep it up.
Thanks everyone!!
