26 year old 158/156/125

  • Hello, everyone!!! It's a new year with new resolutions! Hopefully, this year I will keep them. 2007 has been an adventurous year for me. I started off in January weighing about 170lbs and 6 months preggers. I went in to deliver my baby on 4/25/2007 at 197 lbs. I weighed 170 lbs just a little over a month later. I got kind of serious about losing weight and by October I was 150lbs. Somehow, I lost focus and fluctuated between 155-160 for the next 2 months. Well, here it is the last day of 2007 and I am at 156lbs.
What I've come to find is that weight loss is a state of mind. Once you have set your mind to it and are motivated, anything is possible as with everything else in life. There is no reason why , I, at 26 y.o. cannot have the body of a 26 y.o. There is no reason why I should worry about sucking in my stomach 24 hrs a day. There is no reason why I shouldn't be able to wear whatever it is that I want without having to worry about bulges everywhere. I am going to put a stop to this once and for all! All of the stories in this forum have motivated me and have led me to make the decision to lose this weight. I am making a pledge to myself to lose this weight this year!!! My goal is to eat between 1200-1300 calories daily and to exercise for 30min 5x's a week. I also plan to lose 2.5lbs weekly until I reach my goal of 125lbs.
  • I like your positive attitude
